Elizabeth Olsen gives some sort of performance as Martha/Marcy May so well she is worthy of an Oscar nomination pertaining to Best Actress. This film is some sort of masterpiece. Deeply felt sorrowful moments blended with a rising paranoia that gains you are what make this a really unique debut from Sean Durkin. The word "cult" isn't mentioned once, which I found interesting too. The ambiguity of the film really enhances its feel. The ambiguity of Martha's remembrances reign true in the woman attempts to therapeutically neglect, albeit her past keeps haunting her. A psychological drama with an incredible subtlety to that. You don't see that nowadays. It adds to the tension and makes you cringe together with paranoia right alongside Martha Syndication Source: Article MemoCheck out Martha Marcy May Marlene (2011) over the internet Free Exploding
